The Trekkies in the blogosphere are already analyzing this thing frame by frame and coming with nuggets like, how come Kirk can drive a vintage 'Vette like Jimmy Johnson but in the Piece of The Action episode struggles with a stick shift?

The SNL skit with Shatner comes to mind........

  In a trailer I saw, "Kirk" yells to the bridge crew to "buckle up!"
  
  What? Seat belts? No flying around the bridge during battle scenes? What fun is that?
