...I highly recommend this fascinating film about the end of the Nixon presidency.Perhaps this film just resonated with me, personally, since I remember the era so clearly.
I was in college during the late 1960's and early '70's and recall my strong feeling about Nixon, the Viet Nam War and all the demonstrations, including Kent State. I recall being mesmerized by the Watergate hearings, the "Saturday Night Massacre" when he fired the special prosecutor, and ultimately his resignation and the Ford pardon.
This very well done Ron Howard film captures the essence of Richard Nixon and his downfall. Also the tension and gamesmanship between the two during the interview process.
Watching it I couldn't help but wonder who will do the interview like this, asking similar questions to George Bush. Very timely.
I'd give it an A.

how about.........David Frost.

I've enjoyed what I've seen about the film and TCM's Ron Howard doc. last night was very good.
Question "Authority", the mainstream media sucks - I need music to help forget the reality of today
LOL! + isn't this history repeating? What reporter or correspondent was it that said that Nixon was the only man he'd ever known that could light up a room by leaving it?
Frost: was an entertaining interviewer who had a knack for asking the right questions in just the right manner
All the elements of high drama would be be pressnt here; thanks for the heads-up
