...If I may add a few faves that come to mind:
Catch-22
Soapdish
Don't Start The Revolution Without Me
Lolita (Kubrick, 1962)
The Hospital
Bedazzled (Cook & Moore, 1967)
Stroszek (if in the "weird is great" mood)
Down by Law
Follow Ups:
I luv Soapdish! What a cast. Another favorite I missed. I shouldn't do these late at nigth when I can't see my DVD shelf lol.
Bedazzled is wondeful. I was lucky enough to see Cook and Mmore onstage in "Good Evening" wha I was a student. They were wonderful.
And speaking of Moore, I used to think "10" was pretty funny, although I haven't seen it in at least 15 years.
Late night is tough to do from memory - miss so many.
Your list got me thinkin' - I've been trying to find the "Soapdish" dvd with no luck locally.
Ever hear the term "moratorium", for when no one is distributing or re releasing the dvd? I couldn't believe "The Wizard of Oz" (1939) was not available because of this - kind of sobering.
