When Colbert freaks out-thinking she'd been abandoned by Gable-and loses her appetite, that's when the fireworks start for me. There are so many special moments, that it's hard for me to pick one that stands out. Colbert is amazing. I also think Gable was at his peak. Walter Connolly too. Great movie.
Follow Ups:
Remember the scene where Gable removes his clothes and he has no Tee Shirt? Clark tried it over and over and kept finishing his lines before he finished undressing so he did it without a tee shirt. The sales of tee shirts dropped so much the manufacturers considered suing Paramount Pictures.
I was surprised she wasn't used to raw carrots. I figured they would have been a staple back in the thirties, even among the rich.
We'll have to agree to disagree about global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along
