Saw this this weekend. Frankly was a bit bored as was my wife. By today's standards the plane scenes were truly phony. And what woman would want a life of hanging out at a bar waiting to see if her hubby was plastered against a cockpit wall?
The movie was deep in the shadows of other oldies I have seen recently.
We'll have to agree to disagree about global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along
Follow Ups:
Jean Arthur seemed badly miscast. She just seemed too fluffy for the part. It was a typical Hawks' ensemble piece which needed more, real flying exteriors, and less crappy melodramatic dialogue. Just a stiff, stagey piece. Almost Agatha Christie-like urbane discussions while characters are getting picked off. Shouldn't have been the dud that it is.
