Yeah, I'd hang on to that grudge. I mean, it was only forty years ago! Hell, I'm still pissed off at the Brits for that Tea Tax-it will be a cold day in hell when you see me buying a Guinness!
Plus, it's interesting seeing you vacillate on those iron-clad mores when potential PG-rated non-nudity is involved.
Man, asylum is right.

Well, perhaps you do not understand everything she did. You should
rea'y readd up on her activities during that time. As far as I am concerned,
she's a traitor, of the highest order. She caused the deaths of some
of our people. Don't believe me? Look it up.
It's one thing to have opposed the war. Many people did, many people
worked hard to end the war, some fled to Canada or elsewhere to escape
military, and suchlike and so forth. I don't have any problem with
any of that. I have a BIG problem with someone whose actions cause
death of our people. And there's no reason for me to "get over it",
as you suggest. I have principles in this regard: one of them is,
you don't do what she did.
Mike
Your principles are well founded, though since then Jane Fonda has spoken openly with regret for how her actions could have caused harm.
Fouty years ago I suppose she was more concerned (or aware) of general world issues rather than immediate practical consequenses to our men serving.
Sadly, to "cause death of our people" is not unique to "Hanoi Jane" - Presidents do it all the time with seeming impunity.
