AMC played the Alien movies, 1 and 2 on Friday, 3 and 4 on Saturday.
Been a long time - a long time - since I watched anything on AMC
and I didn't realize they now have commercial breaks. Watched
Alien 1 and 2 on Friday night, but it just aint the same when they
are constantly interrupted by commercials. Didn't watch 3 and 4,
as they are hardly worth watching uninterrupted, much less when
constantly interrupted. Still think Aliens is the best of the lot,
but only by the tiniest of margins.

they are almost as bad as Bravo!

Films played on these channels seem such an afterthought and
are done such an injustice that it breaks my heart. Even great films
become dreck due to the careless editing and the stain of
commercialism they are soaked in. These stations make the past
sins of the "major" networks' editing seem virtually harmless!

Watched a bit of all the Aliens though and have to get the DVD
of Resurrection to see again, it's so fun. Really hated Aliens III
when it came out, but for some odd reason it seems to have aged
well and I just now barely despise it! Aliens has gotten a bit dated
and IMO is just behind Alien as the best o' the bunch.
