in Rio, shot in "real-time" and absolutely pulling no punches.
A distraught, obviously emotionally disturbed man pulls a gun on a crowded bus, threatening its passengers (a robbery gone bad). A standoff of many hours ensues with the bus surrounded by many police, sharpshooters, and massive crowds.
You'll never forget the film; it's incredible ending couldn't be more dramatic were it fiction.

I agree. The human drama is palpable, riveting. You can't get it out of your mind, not just the images, but the story of that young man. It has had pretty decent exposure, having run on HBO for a time. Whatever portion of the cable bill goes for films like this is worth every penny.
