I posted this question on the "Music Lane" forum but got no response. In the opening scenes of "Heartland" there is a single instrument playing an old gospel song/hymn. Who was the artist & does he have any recordings of similar music out.

I found an album by him called Country but not the soundtrack to Heartland - which is an excellent movie for those who missed it
