Roger Ebert has finally addressed the soap opera that is known at At the Movies. I found it interesting. And illuminating.

I watched Siskel and Ebert on public TV before they moved to ABC, so I'm happy he's ok even if he won't be back.
As good as Phillips and Scott are on the show now, they can't replace Ebert.
I remember Ebert commenting on his site right after Roeper stopped doing the show that he and Roeper were planning another television show. Now Roeper is doing his own thing, and I get the feeling from Ebert's essay that he is none to pleased with that development.
