terrible--- it lost me with such miscasting. I kept expecting him to make with the twenty-something jokes.

Schwimmer did a good job playing a jerk who, according the book, made the men into a great company despite himself. Trying to distill all that time into an hour and introducing the men is going to leave that character short but much of that stuff was described in the book. As to your associations with the actor, that's your baggage and not his.
