I liked it enough to view it twice, and liked it more the second time. What I must say though, is that I may have liked it the least of all of his films...maybe.

I've seen Mirror twice also, The Sacrifice at least four time, Andre Rublev twice, and Solaris at least four times.

They all are amazing, and it's really difficult for me to compare them. I might place Mirror at the top because it works for me on such an emotional level that's beyond my understanding.

I have to say that Stalker was the only one my wife made it all the way through, and she actually said she liked it.

I am fascinated with his style. If I were artist - I'd want my work to have effect like his does, even for the small segment of the audience.
