is Sorcerer, directed by Friedkin, starring Roy Scheider (I think).

I also think The Usual Suspects, while more crime than action, is one
movie you cannot see too many times. There's just too many layers to
it. And speaking of layers - try Layer Cake, a brit crime flick that I
just loved. Starred latest James Bond before he was JB.
