It made for a great experience-the original score (by Hans Erdmann) is appropriately spooky and dramatic, and included some great organ parts (which sounded awesome from our balcony seats). They let you buy drinks and take them to your seat, too! Too bad the local cineplex can't offer this.
It was a lot of fun-and Murneau's version of the classic vampire tale sure beats the hell out of Twilight (or any other version you could name, for that matter).

psychologically intense way few films are. Of course, I'd put "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" in with those to form a glorious trilogy of horror.
