By "character driven" I mean the type of writing that - tinear 17:00:17 05/14/10 (0)
doesn't necessarily make any sense as far as plot or story line but is framed only to highlight the actor.
This film, like most excellent or very good ones, has a powerful central figure but her actions are not exaggerated or do not proceed in ways oppositional to the plot but in response to it.
