..I agree with your "weak spot" comment, in general. The violent climax - in spite of the cathartic punch it delivers - is the most serious such "spot" in my estimation.

The last scene, on the train, restored some of the charm it had, fortunately.

All in all I would cautiously recommend it to the others. I think "unusual" and "interesting" would be two words describing it.
