... of "For My Father", I wonder if you might find "Rendition" (2007) similarly involving if yet manipulative? I felt "Rendition" forthright and satisfying, and that its ending hit pay dirt.
I'll keep a look out for "For My Father" - thanks.
They don't have it on Netflix stream, though... :(
