I enjoyed it a lot. My wife recognized that it was a Woody Allen film right off the bat...not a good thing.

Why not a good thing? WA can not be mistaken for anyone else.
He make the same film since day one, again and again, with more or less success.
That one was good!
Good for me, bad for my wife. She hates his films, with the exception "Scoop" and "Match Point". She commented that he should have started making his films in England decades ago. I then rented "Cassandra's Dream", and she reverted back to a thumbs down. Go figure!
