As I was looking through the DVDs and meager BD collection I noticed a copy of "The Vikings" on DVD. Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, Earnest Borgnine. So, in honor of TC, I put it in the drawer and pushed the play button. All in all I thought it was an entertaining trip back into the dark ages. Vikings drinking mead and throwing axes around their great hall. Some very fun scenes.
Keep in mind that this is --not-- that movie with his infamous line; "yonda lies da castle of my fawda".
By this movie his accent is slightly better suited to the character he plays. It's still there, though. In spite of his modest acting talent TC delivers a believable performance in this film. And Janet Leigh never looked more fetching.
