Saw Green Lantern...

...enjoyed the comic book as a kid.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are both nice looking.

The film is boring, silly and pretentious.

Peter Saarsgard is wasted as the lesser of the two villians. The other is special effects smoke.

I'd give it a D+.

But then I also saw Hobo with a Shotgun on video. It makes the Green Lantern look positively Oscar worthy.

I took the kids, who enjoyed their Icee and popcorn and were content, so there's that.

As a flick, I did not enjoy it.
