What I don't understand about recent human portrayals of hideous aliens is how the aliens could have mastered the technical intricacies of interstellar travel but haven't stumbled onto the concept of clothing or other protective coverings (they appear naked). Maybe their origins didn’t involve a Garden of Eden, apples and snakes.
