Classic tale is much more about the original monster than the bride, but there are still many classic moments and visuals.
I now see the inspiration for Brook's Young Frankenstein and why they made him the sophisticated monster.
It is pretty funny really and well worth watching.
Pity the ending, I so wanted a monsterous honeymoon...

Follow Ups:
Yeah, always wondered how the hell they got Elsa Lanchester's hair that
way,looks painful to sleep in.
Seriously, Whale's Frankenstein remains a fav.Love the part when the overhead skylight is opened, the monster reaches upwards,he wants to touch
the light and when the light is closed off the monster wonders where it went.Very touching.
As for Bride Of,I never quite"got it".Guess I'll needto watch it again.
the Bride has more depth, a very human and almost sweet/humorous side. Also the buildings and the experiment at the end especially, are visually stunning.
Also: the bit about the miniature humans are more of a distraction than anything (and a bit of a hiccup imo) but really well done and funny.
Both are required viewing IMO
