Just saw this and cannot understand why he got a GG for it. It is a rather low budget film that has a real HD look to it. The only thing of merit was his spontaneous cry at this wife's bedside.

There were some interesting Hawaiian tidbits. Everybody in Hawaii is cousins and billionaires dress like bums.

Stick to Carrell and Gosling for drama and laughs.

I don't necessarily dislike him. he seems like a reasonably decent guy... not hard to watch.. capable but somehow just gives me the sens that he has no real talent and is just related to old Hollywood in some way so got a break and like the Catholic Church needs Priests ,Hollywood needs leading men... No.. George is not a draw for me ... rather the opposite.. eh.. lest face it... Hollowood is fetid.. there hasn't been a compelling work from that place in years for an adult old enough to have a working knowledge of film eras gonebye...

  But this film's script could use help. He has been better in other things including the political movie released earlier last year. The American proved that he could live solo and remain normal until business called.
  
  Between him and Dicraprio it's hard to separate who the piker is.
