"Indian Tomb."
Fantastical sets; terrific action w/out special effects (a rope bridge sequence must have had the most seasoned stuntman shivering); beautiful maidens, realistic scenes of tiger attacks (I wouldn't have wanted to be the stuntmen in that particular sequence, either), a community of lepers--- and a rip-roaring plot: A successful London architect is hired by an amazingly wealthy Sultan (who tells him to name his own price) to build a monument to rival the Taj Mahal, but with one stipulation: he mustn't let anyone know he is leaving or of his destination. The Sultan's wishes are irresistible: they are being carried out by a mysterious Yogi who was saved by the Sultan after being buried alive.
The actors portraying the Sultan and the Yogi are remarkably powerful and well-worth, alone, the time. If you like action films, you will like this one. It has everything: beautiful women; despicable and seemingly invincible antagonists; riveting action.
The heroine is a strange choice: a chunky thing in sharp contrast to the maidens of the Sultan, one of whom performs a dance that would have made later censors cringe.
Follow Ups:
Totally fantastic in every way, including the 5.1 channel bombastic score.
