..are frivolous fluff. Like trying to capture lighting in a bottle. Where is "Forbidden Games"? How about "M"? No, I think these lists have to be created without the "top ten list" mentality. Break it up by genre and by country of origin. I watched the Blu Ray of ""Grand Illusion," and even having seen the film many times, I still cry when the 2 escaping prisoners have to leave the french woman and child behind, to escape to Switzerland: "Lotte has blue eyes;" The film leaves me with hope that they will be reunited some day. Yes, I'm overly sentimental. What a film!
