Just plowed my way through the most recent season of MM. Not too bad. Not bad at all. Certainly no worse than season 4 which was bogged down with much transition and still stayed true to the characters and gestalt of the show. Season 5 managed to play on many cliches and conceptions about the '60s but avoided bogging down in it. Even though it couldn't reach the heights of the first three seasons, the production value is much better, with period cabs and other vintage sets that help the show enormously. Of course the best thing about mm remains the acting and writing. Sterling still has the best lines. The plot lines always seem fresh and keep me guessing. The blu-ray is definitely a worthy buy.
