The last line of the film uttered by a hitchhiking psycho-killer being passed by Israeli motorists on a busy highway. Funny as hell when you see it.
I never thought anyone enjoyed making fun of themselves as much as the Brits who seem to have that locked up. But, this Israeli film seems to peg the "stereotype-ometer" with its sharp wit projected onto its ensemble of characters: a psycho killer, a love-crossed brother and sister, two young tennis couples, two sexually harassing cops, and a game keeper and his neurotic girlfriend. Their lives all intersect with deadly catastrophe on a beautiful day at a rural fox reserve.
This is a typical ensemble-type action movie that is well edited and reasonably intelligent in its twists and turns. Yeah, somewhat predictable but done in refreshing ways compared to the genre in general.
I would watch it again to enjoy all sly and humorous stereotyping along with some pretty faces. Not bad for a bloody popcorn flick. And watch out for that mine field left over from a former conflict.
