Just finished up this four-part documentary series from 1996 about WW1 aviation and it's step-by-step evolution. Very surprised at the amount of footage there is from that era. Well written and edited it is a true history geek's delight. (Goering is hate at first sight!)

I'm not sure if this was ever featured on The History Channel or whatever but I streamed it via YouTube. Just search the above title and add them to your watch list if you are a YouTube regular.
