They all come out near the end of the year because Oscar voters have small...attention spans.

Most films these days are directed at a 15 year old male demographic since that's mainly who goes to the multiplexs.

Now we are entering the summer blockbuster season - explosions, space ships, zombies and car chases. Some have all of them.
