...was very well done.

As good as (my memory of) the first, but a little different, without Nancy Allen and some of the humor.

Of course the first was more novel at the time but the politics of this were pretty current.

I thought Sam Jackson's character reminded me of Bill O'Reilly so I can see why some were put off.

I saw the sequel to the first, Robocop 2, and don't remember it at all.
