Alastair Sim, Trevor Howard, and a cast of excellent English actresses.
A team of British doctors and nurses find their patients and themselves the preferred victims of a vicious, clever killer.
The suspense is heightened by the brilliant editing and cinematography: this may be one of England's least known masterpieces of cinema. 90-minutes (okay, it does have a somewhat leisurely beginning, but when it gathers speed….) of true suspense--- and I bet you're not close to guessing the culprit near the end.
