Duke gave a heroic performance. This and "Quiet Man" are my favorites. And "Stagecoach." Just saw "Liberty Valence" recently, and think he was great in that one. Vera was terrific in both of them, too. She was real. I felt she gave sincere performances. Kind of felt that way about Kim Novak, too. Not to forget Jean Hagen. I would have liked to see them work with John Wayne.
