I watched both series through a couple of times. It's all very dry as these two celebs play strangely eccentric versions of themselves, but it is filled with wit and humor, impressions of both well-known and less-well-known British celebs, beautiful scenery, some great-looking food, and a moderate amount of middle-aged wistfulness and nostalgia. There is nothing else quite like it. I'm sure I will watch both series again. I have not seen the movie versions- some of the 3-hour TV material has to have been cut out, and I like it all.
