I'm three or four episodes in. Does this get any better?

Pretty bad so far - just terrible writing. The dialogue does not drive either the storyline or character development. Lots of 'cinema verite', feeling like they just let people talk and filmed it.

Which is all very artsy but where's the DAMN STORY. And every character is a cliche.

Disappointing.
