But the first episode was straight from Cliche' City. Who talks like that after doing this gig for a decade? Seen 2 episodes so far, and the story is already all over the map. Only 4 to go, so I hope they straighten out.

Duchovny said in an interview that this story could easily have been made for 12 episodes instead of 6, so I doubt there will be much focus. And if not, maybe that would be intentional. Hard to say.
