This was almost like a dud Steven King production. A lot of thrashing about then a nothing ending. I haven't seen the rotten tamaters rating but this thing was nearly a turkey. Winstead did an excellent job and Goodman was pretty good but the script and plot just didn't deliver for me.

When Winstead finally got free the invaders didn't even resemble the original Cloverfield critters. Looks like they took the cheap way out.
