Looking for a chisel. A strength of this series is its ability to maintain this level of tension so consistently across thirty episodes. Just amazing. They continually skate from one holocaust to another, keeping the ruse going. And the angst of the 3-way love affair is so thick it can't be cut with a jackhammer. Truly an incredible heartbreak to endure -- after 15 years of prison. The back story is genius.

But it is porn of several varieties. Interviews with the producers indicate that a comic book reality is a model they use. And by comics, I don't think Daffy Duck is one of the references.
