I thought Goodman was excellent. The creepiest part to me- after Howard kills Emmett he reappears clean-shaven hovering over Michelle. Yuck!
All that said - Michelle transforming into a super-hero was unsatisfying and the Molotov cocktail into the mouth of the beast has been done too many times- War of the Worlds remake -Independence Day etc etc
