foreshadowing the Neo-Cold War. Miller (Armitage) has been sent to Berlin to investigate and plug a huge info leak to the German Press. Every week some embarrassing bit of info slips from the fictional whistleblower, Thomas Shaw, into the German and international news. Miller appears to be transferred into an unassuming position by most of the staff including his old war buddy and rival, Hector DeJean (Ifans).
It doesn't take long before the sneaking around, foot chases, and quick assassinations occur. Too bad there isn't more of it in order to make the series more compelling. But, I will say it does garner your interest after about episode three.
Richard Jenkins, Station Chief, and Leland Orser, Number Two, played grizzled veterans of the spy game. They contend with day to day chicanery while Miller plugs away at finding out who Thomas Shaw really is. The show has plenty of side action which helps to hold interest.
I'm 50/50 on this one. There is just something missing in the story and script.
