...The first amendment does not apply to private entities such as AA. AA owners and management are free to control the content of their site in any manner they see fit. We as users accept that as one of many terms of use. Obviously, if AA policies drive content providers (us) away, it will fail in the marketplace and ultimately cease to exist. Self correction in the macro environment.

Yes I understand this. Heck I was banned from one forum because I posted a picture of Peter Qvortrup (Audio Note) having a set of Avante Garde speakers in the broom closet at his manufacturing plant. The owner of the forum owns and is a dealer of Avant Garde and found that to be insulting and so I was banned (I had no idea he was a dealer/owner). LOL. His private forum he gets to be absolute ruler and dictator. BSimilar in fact to all employers in the US - many states can fire you without cause. So while it is a democracy in that you can choose between two parties who receive massive amounts of money from corporations and businesses - it is not a "democracy" for employees where instead of ONE dictator ruling all - you have millions of mini-dictators running businesses.
Where they can fire you if you are a smoker, have you drug tested. After all what you do in your free time is not really your free time.
And if you're the wrong colour (or gender) things are much much worse for you.
I am often surprised at the things people seem to be able to do in Canada (supposedly commie land) that you can't do in the US. And not just pot.
The moderators on AA are usually quite good - they let people have their say and let them vent - leave these threads up for a couple of days and then dump them. Kind of a release valve.
