Shadow in lower right hand corner of Sony Bravia

A dark shadow has developed in the lower right hand corner of our 27-inch Bravia. It's there on all channels and won't rob off with a soft cotton cloth, so it's part of the tube. Anyone experience this? Any suggestions?
