Looks like the HD DVD camp is after the European Commission to investigate whether improper tactics were used to secure movie studio support for Blu-Ray. Much good info here in general: Sales figures for both formats, commentary on the Playstation 3's impact on the market and so forth.

And even if they tried to, it would probably be too late to do something to affect the outcome of the format wars.
