IMO it was more of a gimic. One or two of my TV's have PIP, I used it for fun a couple times when the TV was new, that's all. Years have gone by with no use. If I want to watch two shows, I'll record one of them.

Could not even begin to tell you how many times I've used it since I had this capability. I'll tell you I'm a sports fanatic!! :)

  especially since, one or the other was always "between plays". Of course, not so useful for Soccer where the action is almost alway continuous.
