Considering a hd tv around 20 or 22 inches for the bedroom. Any suggestions. Also, since I have little technical ability will I have to get it professionally "setup" for picture-etc. I can go for 500-600 but
if I can pay less that is just reat
Thanks

With the smaller screen sizes like you mention (since 60 and 70 inch sizes are now available), you'll have to settle for a lower pixel count and that should be sufficient. A 768 horizontal pixel count will do just fine, but be sure you have the necessary inputs and there is a definite shift to HDMI inputs.
You need not spend any money for professional setups, as most sets are computer processed with in board chips. Flick on the menu and most adjustments are there on your screen. Most likely in that size range you'll be getting an LCD set, so turn down the brightness and sharpness and you'll be pretty much set to go. You'll also be faced with a choice of wide screen, 16 x 9, or standard, 4 x3 screens. I prefer the 16 x 9 but then I like to watch movies.

I was just checking the big vendors such as circuit city. A 20 inch 720p flat panel LCD HDTV runs $400. You can get a "nameless" set in that same size for as little as $300-$350. The well known brand could have a better picture but maybe not. I would have to go shopping and look at the pictures on each.
