The answer is yes! However, with the very small limited titles available in either HD format, I shall pass! I have watched only two HD DVD films and enjoyed the vivid quality of that format!
Is either format worthwhile? NO! Not until 100% of studios support one HD format and release 100% of their library titles in that HD format!
In the meantime, I will enjoy shopping everywhre knowing the fact that when I buy a standard DVD title it most likely will work in my existing Cambridge Audio DVD89 machine. Thus far it has yet to totally lock up.. At least it will eject a faulty disk.........

I hope you are a young guy, because you may be waiting awhile for this happy state to occur: 100% conversion never happened in the shift from VHS to DVD, or from LP to CD either.
No, I'm an old guy at 45! HQ video formats for the home will be after my time!
