Two months or less............ BEAUTIFUL pictures on Blu-Ray, but the machine crashed and would not eject a standard DVD.........
Bye, bye SONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy your BEAUTIFUL 1080P images....................

...If that had happened to me, even with a cheap player, I would have taken it back for a refund.
Sony loves customers like you.
Are you now going to be a perpetual whinger about high definition video? (from your last few posts it seems you are heading that way)
If you don’t like the high definition formats that is fine but don’t carry on like some kind of victim because your one & only BD player locked up on you.
Maybe some anger management therapy is needed?

My preference is to listen to 2 channel analog vinyl. Or my new Chord Red Reference (2 Channel Red Book CD) audio disk player. My video setup is in another room. How, I enjoy DVD video. Many, many standard North American region 1 titles. Keep the HD video UNTIL the market decides which if ANY of the competing formats ultimately wins.............. Both have BEAUTIFUL images....... But,just pick one or the other!!!! In the meantime, I shall stick with standard format region 1 DVD disks!!!!!
