type of all in one systems. I believe that the family has a digital player already, and I am certain we can get one if not.
I asked the wife, and she has a modest room and these systems would be more than adequate volume wise.
Follow Ups:
I've heard the Sony system. Used it, in fact - a friend and client has one, and it ain't much. Very pretty and compact. A bit crispy for my ears, however. I don't care for all in one systems myself, one thing goes south and the whole system is dowm. I will say this all-in-one was easy to use.Generally speaking, I've found Onkyo has better sound for the $$. I haven't heard this one. Neither of these systems would satisfy us for music, but the Onkyo set will sound way better than the TV speakers for sports and movies.
I hope you told your friends that the Bose system won't sound any better than these but costs lots more. It always amazes me that people will spend large sums on displays but skimp on sound.
tell them about Boze.
