Samsung pretty much sucks when it comes to electronics. Why waste the money, especially on a Blu-ray player from them? All of their players so far have glitches, gotchas and/or firmware issues.

  I agree - the deal isn't tempting to me but will be to some wishing to get into Blu-Ray in the UK.
  
  There isn't a Blu-Ray player on the market I'd be interested in yet. :0)
