Anyone have any experience with these? Do they work? They broadcast video from one tv set to another wirelessly? I'm doubting they work, but who knows......anyone use one?
Follow Ups:
I've got the Terk Leapfrog that runs the signal from the cable box in the den 20 ft away to my big HT in my sunroom. It's just broadcasting a composite video signal plus audio. Given that the picture quality is similar to what you would get running cable wire from composite video but don't expect HDTV.
I don't know if there are any units yet that do HD but I'm not running an HD cable box anyway.
The outputs from the receiver portion of the Terk feed into the cable/sat input on the Pioneer surround sound receiver. The transmitter portion sits on top of the cable box fed by R, W any Y audio and composite video outputs from the cable box.
This brought cable into an area where it would otherwise be impractical to run cable wire.
Also, if you have analog TV sets not connected to cable, you could buy a Terk receiver for each set and put a transmitter on your cable box and have TV on all the old analog sets around the house from your cable box w/o adding digital tuners to each set.
IIRC the the receivers can be purchased separately from the transmitters for about $30 ea.
