Full specs and box art are in for the July Blu-ray debut of 'In the Line of Fire,' which will hit high-def with Dolby TrueHD audio and extensive bonus features.
As we've previously reported, Sony announced a July 1 arrival for the Clint Eastwood blockbuster, a longtime DVD bestseller, which is finally making its way to Blu-ray.
The BD-50 dual-layer presentation will feature 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, English, French, and Portuguese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround tracks, a Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dub, and subtitles in the same languages.
Extras will mirror those found on the previous special edition DVD release, including audio commentary with director Wolfgang Petersen, the documentary "The Ultimate Sacrifice," a trio of featurettes ("Behind-the-Scenes with the Secret Service," "How'd They Do That?", "Catching the Counterfeiters") and deleted scenes.
Finally, Sony has issued the Blu-ray box art for 'In the Line of Fire':
Follow Ups:
I thought this was a decent Eastwood flick. Russo and especially Malkovich were damned good. Sure we knew how it was going to end but watching Malko torment Clint was fun. Actually was thinking about this the other day and hoping it would appear on one of our zillion pay moivie channels (instead of godawful TBS).
What I be doin' with dis football helmet on
What I even be doing on dis planet?
